Making friends--one cupcake at a time.

Does anyone over the age of 9 love their birthday more than me? I think not. This year, in an effort to make friends through baked goods, I invited the entire Relief Society over for cake at lunchtime. Since I couldn't decide what I wanted most, I went ahead and made all my favorite treats: coconut cupcakes, lemon cheesecake, and the classic chocolate layered cake. YUM! What a great 5th Anniversary of my 29th birthday.

Happy Birthday to me!

  3. Oh how I miss your lemon cheesecake! I had some the other night that wasn't nearly as good. Will you share your recipe?

I thought about you and Sydney quite a bit as I drove Katie up to Chloe's birthday party last Friday. I kept remembering them all in their cherry onesies and sunglasses after Chloe's first birthday. We sure miss you guys! (Although Katie has made lots of new friends, she still refers to Sydney as her "best friend.")

    Happy birthday my friend!
