typhoon

This weekend we had a super-typhoon. That was the actual term they used for the crazy winds we had Saturday night. The next morning we woke to find trees down all over. The most depressing was our neighbor's big banyan tree. It tore up the sidwalk and had left a void where it once grew. Mother Nature can be as fierce sometimes. Nearly everyone who had an outdoor, plastic shed, found it in pieces. One friend had someone's grill through their car window. Our yard fared pretty well. We were cleaning up for a while, though. We filled 15 big black garbage bags from the debris in our back yard alone. Here's the kicker--it's not even typhoon season yet. I'm guessing this year is going to be a whopper.
